American president Barack Obama met the chefs of 15 biggest financial institutions in the country




Obama met lords of american banking. He wanted to gain a support for his rescue plan. The meeting was in the White House. The rescue plan of american president rests in allowing of banks to lend loans. The ekonomics assistant of B. Obama said, that this meeting improves the relationship between government and banking sector in the time of financial crisis. „It is our duty to make as much as possible, to support strong and permanent economic growth. The banks plays a big role in the country. Our future is inseparably joined with this financial institutions,“ said the assistant of White House, Valerie Jarrett. Chefs of financial institutions Fannie Mae, Freddy Mac, Citigroup, JP Morgan, Bank of New York, Northern Trust, PNC Financial, State Street, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, USBancorp, Wells Fargo, American Bankers Association a Financial Services Roundtable took part in this meeting.
