ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS by D&A: a day in frames

 Falling in "frame"

After all, life is a frame!

We like a picture we frame it...we frame cards, post cards, memories, feelings, photos of people we love, people we used to love and care about, photos of favourite things we wear or used to wear, we "frame" our heart, sometimes only to pretend that we are strong and we protect ourselves, we frame our body shape only to keep up with the expectactions of thouse who judge the shape not the content...and sometimes we frame our lives and we live like in the perfect frame - a pink frame, with floral details, a flamboyant photo, with people who drink wine&laugh, people who kiss each other and hold hands, a dream became reality.

In fact our lives are beautiful in their essences, simple black framed moments spent on a bridge in from of our house, enjoying a sunny day, the air, the quietness, the bird tweet, enjoying each other, striking a chord, tasting cinnamon biscuits and a cup of black tea.

In the end of the day we framed us looking at each other, the necklaces which remind us of our b*day gifts, the shoes we love, the clothes we love to wear, in fact the feeling called...LOVE.

With love,
D&A

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS by D&A: NY we love you but London is closer

We love NY but London is closer

Every desire has a story...

We love NY&LONDON because they have a story, our story, a love story, a new beginning story, a partnership story, a two lives story, a two in love hearts story, a fabulous & excruciating story...and these stories are small pieces in our great life puzzle.

Why NY? Crazy lifestyle, Sex and the city, Gossip Girl, Coke, picnic in Central Park, 24 h delivery, pop burger, cabs, the subway, sunday brunch, everybody smokes weed, everyone finds their identity here, New York loves you back, Magnolia Bakery, magic cookie bars, MoMA, icing on the cake, you&him in <3 K-I-S-S-I-N-G.

Why London? English Royal family, Sophie Kinsella, the british accent, Hyde Park, the flag, tea at Ritz hotel, Camden, Portobello and Borough markets, the pubs, buying the Sunday papers at Charing Cross, night bagel bakeries, vintage stores, indian food, fashion designers, squares, Central Saint Martins College, Topshop & love in red&blue.

With red&white&blue love

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS by D&A: two destinations, one story, the same sun

Two destinations, two stories in the same day

What happens when we are apart, beside the fact that we miss each other?

We simply split our way...the blonde half goes to her grandma to make her a surprise for her b*day, drinks coffee and reels memories and funny stories while the brunette is dropped on by a good friend living the so common drama of women and goes to the seaside to enjoy the sun and loose her platforms in the magical sand.

Sunday 8.00 am.

Young lady in from of my door. Ring bell ON. Hysterical moment. Drama queen story. The Queen needs a moment of freedom and wants to go to the seaside. Friend in need. Brunette calls the other brunette, the Hight Street Cardigans one and commands her to be ready in 20 minutes or less. On the highway (not to heaven, but to a peaceful place for not so peaceful characters). Four hours on the beach, 800 photos, only 6 absolutely fabulous for the high flier brunette. Two hour lunch: sea food, wine, carrot soup and a perfect communist Amandina. Back in Bucharest, three calm spirits, Feist on the radio, no words, just thoughts, ready for party. Brunette crying for the lost pair of platforms. The sun rising. A new day.

9.30 am

Two good friends, a car and one way to Targu-Mures. Love doing surprises. Grandma and her birthday for her 83 beautiful years. A Saturday morning for buying presents: a parfume (she is still very cool and fabulous) and some natural-bio cosmetics. One hour later
Ring bell ON. Hysterical moment. Grandma was shocked! Mission accomplished. She was very happy. Stories and good food, pictures, old times...like we always do..then sleep and some tv..and tea...lots of tea. Chill and relax. SUNDAY...Get ready for a party with cake and all the rest. With all the family. Fabulous time with my people...And then return to Bucharest...That's all folks!

 Brunette&Blondie kisses ya, girls!

Stay tuned for a NY vs London post, next week!

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS by D&A: Absolutely Fabulous Tea Time

Tea time all day long
Fabulous habbit @ work

Even if the tea time is supposed to be an afternoon break for most of you, or just a light meal, for us, every hour, of every single day has a fabulous break...the tea making break.

Since we've bought the floral vintage teapot from one of our good friends who has a small deco business we simply couldn't stop enjoying the new flavours in our new cups, the coconut biscuits from our new vintage plates and the new habbit and substitute of our old pal, the latte machiatto :)

Cheers girls!
