The economics crisis took the bratislava´s airport, too. The number of transported passengers was decreased about third.
The bratislava´s airport of M. R. Štefánik appointed 303 336 of passengers for three month of this year. It is about 29,4% lower than in the last year. This situation brought the word economics crisis.
Between the biggest air carrier on the airport belong the lowcosted airport companies Ryanair and SkyEurope Airlines.The transport of passengers was decreased, but the costed transport was increased 18times, about 2100,2 tonne.
In the next years the airport in Bratislava will by changed. It plans the reconstruction of the departured hall and the building of the new console fo 92,9 millons of dollars. This project will by ended in 2012. The capacity will by 5 millions of passengers.
