Hi friends!!!
In this article I will write the last time about destinations in Sri Lanka.
With a short transfer from the airport, holidays in Negombo offer the chance to be in your bikini and on The Beach before you can say the words 'total relaxation'. That being said, sun and sand aren't the only attractions. This popular resort has quite a bit of pzazz for Sri Lanka, with a string of eateries and several friendly bars, not to mention one of the liveliest fish markets this side of Colombo. This being Sri Lanka not the Med, we're talking 'good value' rather than cheap holidays to Negombo. But look out for late deals and you might be lucky, particularly if you end up in the aptly named 'The Beach' hotel. As you'd expect, it's set right on a lovely stretch of sand, lapped by the azure waters of the Indian Ocean. So the views are to die for. As for the facilities, they're pretty special too, with two excellent restaurants, two pools, a fully equipped gym, tennis, squash and watersports. Alternatively, there's Brown's Beach Hotel, a good choice for all inclusive holidays. Holidays in Negombo come with a side order of local culture and history. The main town has several leftovers from the periods of colonial rule, when both the Dutch and British stamped their mark on the island. As for natural attractions, there are the nearby Muthurajawela wetlands, where you can get up close and personal with crocodiles, heron and macaque monkeys.
