Two destinations, two stories in the same day

What happens when we are apart, beside the fact that we miss each other?

We simply split our way...the blonde half goes to her grandma to make her a surprise for her b*day, drinks coffee and reels memories and funny stories while the brunette is dropped on by a good friend living the so common drama of women and goes to the seaside to enjoy the sun and loose her platforms in the magical sand.

B.r.u.n.e.t.t.e.
Sunday 8.00 am. 

Young lady in from of my door. Ring bell ON. Hysterical moment. Drama queen story. The Queen needs a moment of freedom and wants to go to the seaside. Friend in need. Brunette calls the other brunette, the Hight Street Cardigans one and commands her to be ready in 20 minutes or less. On the highway (not to heaven, but to a peaceful place for not so peaceful characters). Four hours on the beach, 800 photos, only 6 absolutely fabulous for the high flier brunette. Two hour lunch: sea food, wine, carrot soup and a perfect communist Amandina. Back in Bucharest, three calm spirits, Feist on the radio, no words, just thoughts, ready for party. Brunette crying for the lost pair of platforms. The sun rising. A new day.

9.30 am

Two good friends, a car and one way to Targu-Mures. Love doing surprises. Grandma and her birthday for her 83 beautiful years. A Saturday morning for buying presents: a parfume (she is still very cool and fabulous) and some natural-bio cosmetics. One hour later Ring bell ON. Hysterical moment. Grandma was shocked! Mission accomplished. She was very happy. Stories and good food, pictures, old times...like we always do..then sleep and some tv..and tea...lots of tea. Chill and relax. SUNDAY...Get ready for a party with cake and all the rest. With all the family. Fabulous time with my people...And then return to Bucharest...That's all folks!

While taking our breakfast, the traditional english black tea&the french croissant, we rediscovered a new JOY, the magazine itself, and in the same time we enjoyed four fabulous scarves signed by four romanian designers (Corina Vladescu, Maria Lucia Hohan, Laura Lazar& Lena Criveanu).

If you feel in the mood for playing and reinvent the function of the scarf, these four are the best to begin to colour your everyday life and everyday habbits...attach them to your hair bun, make a bow on your neck, wear them as a bow-belt, accesorize your handbag, make a bookmark for your favourite Dali album, enwrap a present for your best friend or attach it on a pillow on your bed. You have so many ways to get the most out of these four items.

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS by D&A: Who's the ab fab man in our lives?

Who's the ab fab man in our lives?

He loves ties and whisky, brown and grey, he's not a vegan, but he keeps dreaming about a vegetarian diet, he's there when we need him and he makes us smile with his silly jokes everytime we have a drama, he is meticulous and always a gentleman, he brings us flowers in the middle of winter, with no reason, he hates sea food, but tastes it everytime we ask him, he likes Louise Ebel and posts a photo of her everyday on FB, he is good and kind, and he is one of the ab fab men in our lives.

We have decided to dedicate a post to every ab fab man in our lives and Marius Tatu is the first to be posted about. 

Why? Because all the reasons wrote above and because he's one of the most talented photo editors alive.

For those who don't know who's behind the amazing edited photos in Absolutely Fabulous Magazine, Glamour, Prevention & GQ, he is the MAN.

And because he always "gifts" us his Sony NEX-5 camera when we need it.

And that's why we <3 him.

We found out that thanx to Cristina Ivan, the owner of Atelier Aiurea, we have been chosen for the street style section in Glamour Paris. 

The photos for this item were taken @ our Absolutely Fabulous Fashion&Vintage Fair and we are proud to see our friends and visitors of the fair in the magazine.

After a long week without our beloved crazy blonde girl, Sunday  I succeeded in convincing her to get out of the house. In fact it wasn't me, but a very old friend of ours: Scrabble. We both love Scrabble and we play it since we were just two little girls and it seems we still find it exciting!

To return to my precious blondie...She was still pretty ill, but she was an appearance as usual: black velvet baggy pants, golden flats, fuchsia lipstick & statement gold earrings, ready for a rose wine glass & butter biscuits and amazingly for a reasearch about the history of Scrabble.

How the comeback ended?!

The brunette half of Ab Fab looking for tickets for our future holiday in Amman and dreaming about sunny days&DJs, and the blonde one talking about how Scrabble, the "to scratch frantically", is a trademark of Hasbro.Inc. in U.S.A and Canada, sold in 121 countries in 29 different lanaguage versions. 

And now...Monday 21st we are back in business!

If you wanna have fun with your girls, but you're not in the mood for high heels and dressing up for the city life, your should spend your girls night out, IN!

IN? You might be asking yourself! Yes, girls, stay inside, order a huge pizza and buy a few bottles of rose wine and then with all the spicy ingredients - peper, hot ketchup, your FB account, the phone numbers of your fans, Gossip Girl on TV and Oh Land on the radio, everything will be fabulous.

Even if you won't spend the night in the club don't forget to dress yourself properly for the event. It's all about eat, drink, socialize, photo shootings and skype conversations and you really have to be fabulous. 

You never know who's gonna knock on your door at 3 am.

And you know why we always choose pizza (when we want to eat junk food)?

Because it is said that pizza is a lot like sex. 

When it's good, it's really good. 

When it's bad, it's still pretty good.

So girls don't forget that good food always ends with good talk or good / still pretty good sex!!!
