Five days till the Absolutely Fabulous Fashion&Vintage Fair, summer edition,
18&19th June, @ Cafepedia Romana,
and we are still working on it.

...fab illustration by Tudor Codreanu (again), fab gifts,
fab deco details,
two floors, elegant fab fragrances,
fab exhibitors, many vintage&designer items
and fab contests...and yet many other things to do.

But what would our life be without short, but significant breaks called shopping sessions.

Because we already know the answer, in the middle of a very busy weekend
we worked out a wish list and we also managed to purchase everything
we had in our mind in less than two hours.

-two hats + floral accesories
-two belts
-fruits for healthy body&mind :)
-some illuminating bronzing oil
-the fab Jimmy Choo fragrance
-the refined Costume National eau de parfum
-E.Coudray eau de toilette&body lotion
-a handmade necklace made by our beloved Ade Lina
-a golden vintage pair of earrings

Mission accomplished!

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS by D&A: pick a day&a quote

  pick the day...

 ...enjoy it - to the hilt. The day as it comes. People as they come... The past, I think, has helped me appreciate the present - and I don't want to spoil any of it by fretting about the future...

As once said a woman we probably all love... her name is as fabulous as we write&read it...Audrey Hepburn.
While browsing a book about her life in a peaceful garden of a palace that we instantly fell in love with,
we were struck to see not so many words, but a bewildering variety of truths:


Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, it's at the end of your arm, as you get older, remember you have another hand: The first is to help yourself, the second is to help others.

I believe in pink. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.


It's that wonderful old-fashioned idea that others come first and you come second. This was the whole ethic by which I was brought up. Others matter more than you do, so don't fuss, dear; get on with it.

Let's face it, a nice creamy chocolate cake does a lot for a lot of people; it does for me.

Paris is always a good idea.

Fab monings last forever

Mornings and breakfast are more than early hours hard to handle...

For us the morning is the precious moment when we realise in a peaceful atmosphere what we have...

We have each other, in a honest and sometimes crazy, incomprehensible manner, 

and that is a magical start of a day. 

There's more behind  a cup of coffee and a butter croissant, a photo, a smile and marshmallows.

There is love, commitment and an exquisite relationship called friendship. 

Hard to find, hard to manage and even harder to hold and to cherish.

for Ice Cream

....and then...just to forget all the questions without answers about your destiny...you call your friends...and just scream for a Saturday off, some ice-cream, a long day with short&not so many words, strawberry ice cream, vanilla ice cream, chocolate chip ice cream, cherry vanilla ice cream, lemon ice cream and at the end of an ice cream day diet you just become, in a idealistic manner, a member of New Young Pony Club...ready for a fabulous Monday, bird trills in the garden, green ice tea, new projects, new invitation cards on your desk, bills and endless sun waves.

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS by D&A: Absolutely in love with a new lifestyle

Absolutely in love

If you ever had the luck of being in a heavenly city you will understand us when we tell you that we are absolutely in love with a small town near Barcelona and two wonderful-fabulous friends. We were shown what real friendship is & how two fans of AF Concept look like.

3 As + 1 D + 3 fab cities = LOVE 

This is the equation of one of the most splashy holidays ever.

Breakfast on the rooftop, cooking magnificent dinners, watching Gossip Girl on the balcony, thousands of photos, long walks in Barcelona, hysterical shopping, lots of green ( we mean parks&gardens :) ), seaside, but no sunbathing ( because we take care of our skin :) ),  fruits&smoothies, coffee&croissants 24h/day, 3 hours sleep, early awakenings, marshmallow cupcakes, ice cream, "parcs d'atracciones", all day singing & 24 to 24 h of unconditioned love&joy.

We said goodbye to this heaven a few days ago and decided to meet again in London...because the summer is still young and so are we...

If you ask us, a fabulous life is one full of love, smiles, kisses, laughs, tears, achievements, disappointments, joy, new friends, new enemies, poems & gossip, trust, friendship&commitment, wildness, spontaneity, hopes, new horizons, healthy food&junk food when the psyhic needs it, fragrances, music, color...

But sometimes you just need a day&night off to be only with youself and just enjoy the silence, a good movie, a glass of rose wine, a spa session, a new nail polish, a new or old book, new fragrances, new lingerie, some coconut sweets & a good friend to be by your side in your peaceful, silent moment - a moment hard to forget & an imperative thing to do when you feel your life is too much too handle.

It takes you 24 h to be brand new&be fabulous and shimmery again.

Nothing is like a pizza, wine&The Temper Trap Saturday night & a fab early coffee with our girls, but what can we do in tough conditions&situations...

Sometimes we have the answer: we choose spa&seaside, books&flowers, coffee&coke, love&laughs, white&pink, leopard&lace, grass&sand, hats&frills.


It starts Friday with:


Brunette short trip fab ingredients: floral pattern room, rose  delight, moules au vin, Tour Eiffel replica, pink cotton candy, spa sessions, pinacolada, long walks under the moon light, gigantic beds, white dress, rose lingerie, pitoresque bulgarian villages, kisses&love.


Blonde short trip fab ingredients: "forget me not" flowers, fresh apples, white liliac, morning coffee, tanti roz book, magic strawberries, leopard leggings, smiles&kisses, holding hands under the sun beams, the lake, the green willow, blue flowers field, kisses&love.

And it all ends Sunday evening with:


The brunette&blonde drinking a black english tea, enjoying the sunset from the last floor of a tres chic Bucharest boutique hotel...
